The Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society

Community Response Team (Interior Health)

Provides assessment, recommendations, brief follow-up in the community and/or referral to community supports. Mon-Sun: 11:30am - 9:00pm (including statutory holidays). Individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and/or who may be at imminent risk to harm themselves or others.

The Alexandra Gardner Women and Children Safe Centre

A 24/7 homeless shelter for women, youth and children that offers 20 beds, low barrier, emergency shelter for women and . Offers free services to those who are homeless and assists clients to work on their next steps to help them plan for a safe future.

RCMP Victim Service Program

Free of charge services for victims, witnesses, family members and others who have been impacted by crime and trauma: emotional support, police requested crisis response, follow-up support for as long as required, info on the status of police investigation, info on how criminal justice system works, info on progress of the case through the court system, court orientation for witnesses who may be required to testify, assistance in completing Crime Victim Assistance compensation forms, assistance in completing Victim Impact Statements, referral to appropriate social, legal, financial, counselling and other services.
